Making planets is fun and I reckon blowing them up would be even more fun ... this is lovely. I like the colours. This could be such a cliche with reds and yellows, but blues and whites give ity a very unique flavour. I like the contrast between such soft beauty and such awesome and horrific destruction.

You bet it's fun! :) ! Well yeah, the universe after all has such an abundance of colours... Red and yellow are over-used.And they tire the eyes easily. This is meant to be a wallpaper, so it should relax the user, not aggravate him. But above all, it was the concept, the theme of the picture: It's about Hope even in the face of destruction. And blue/ white are in my mind at least, a symbol of hope, you know? :)
